Hi!
I LOVE your video on beading chain. I would like to try this myself. However, I NEED YOUR HELP!
I would like to make about 10 to 15 of these bracelets using crystals and round metal beads.
I’m not good at judging how much chain or beads I’d need.
Can you help?
For how much beading chain you will need will depend on the wrist length. If it is an average 7.5 inch, I would take that amount and add an extra 3-4 inches for a total of about 10-12 inches for a bracelet. You want to be able to slip your hand through the bracelet when you expand the sliding clasp on the bracelet. You can always cut away and inch or two to adjust the length of the beading chain.
The amount of beads you will need will also depend on you. Play with it and test out the amount of beads you’ll need because all beads aren’t the same size.
I hope that helps. Thank you.
Yes, thank you . Very helpful!
Anyway, do you have “end caps” that do not have a loop on them?
Maybe a just a silver bead with a hole that does not go all the way thru …. just to insert the chain end and have a “plain” finish rather than having something else dangling ?
Hello Judy. Yes we do have end caps without the loop. If you out into our search bar “Cord Ends” on our GoodyBeads.com page, you’ll get a list of end caps, but you will see the ones without the loops on them.
