Seed Beading DIY Kits

Not sure where to to start? Why not pick up a Seed Beading DIY kit. Each kit includes all the materials needed to make each jewelry item. Here are some of our recent favorites:

We’re taking a pair of classic drop earrings and adding a wow factor with TierraCast® bead frames and Swarovski® round crystals.

What you’ll need for earrings:

• 9mm TierraCast Bead Frame
• 4mm Swarovski Round Crystals
• 8/0 TierraCast Seed Bead
• 30mm Tear Drop Miracle Bead
• Headpin and Eyepins and Earwires

Turquoise Bead Frame Earrings

Directions:

1. On a headpin, slide on a seed bead, miracle and another seed bead. Make a simple loop.
2. Open loop made in Step 1, slide on loop of eye pin. Close loop.
3. On the eye pin, slide on bead frame with 4mm crystal bead in the middle.
   1. This may be a bit tricky, so make sure you put the crystal inside the frame first, while making sure to closely situate the holes of the crystal and bead frames to line up.
4. Make a simple loop.
5. Open ear wire and slide on loop you make in Step 4.
6. Repeat all steps for other earring.

Tory and Candie Cooper are back in this video to demonstrate how to make simple bracelets using memory wire, leather, end caps and beads!Making bracelets with memory wire is one of the easiest way to make jewelry! Make sure to stop over to our Memory Wire Hot Category page to shop for memory wire, end caps, tools and leather with an inner hole that can be used with memory wire. Don’t forget to get some of our favorite beads to accompany your leather memory wire bracelet like glass beads, gemstones, TierraCast beads, Swarovski crystals and more.

Because memory wire comes pre-coiled, it will sustain and keep its shape. We personally like the Beadalon® Heavy Duty Memory Wire (WR00120/WR00121), which Tory and Candie use in the video. And most importantly, having the correct tools will help create your bracelets: Memory Wire Shears and Memory Wire Finishing Pliers

These pliers will help with looping the memory wire because wire itself is a thick and sturdy wire.
