We’re combining seed bead and gemstones together in this FREE bead-stitch Pointed Earrings pattern tutorial.. It involves peyote stitching around a 10mm round gemstone bead and adding bursts of bead around the bezel. This earring pattern uses: 10mm round gemstones, 4mm round gemstones, wire guardians, 11/0 Delica seed beads and 15/0 round seed beads. And earwires, beading thread and needle.

One of our happiest combinations are leather and gemstone. Throw in a fantastic large rhinestone clasp and this bracelet is one you’ll wear all the time.

Items used in bracelet sample:

• 1mm Leather Cord – Z015514
  Try other 1mm leather cord colors.
• 8mm Large Hole Gemstones – WAF8RDLH-M-8
  Try other selections of 8mm Large Hole Gemstones.
• Two Hole Oval Pewter Beads – Z008288
• Silver Plated Lobster Clasp with Rhinestones – Z014867
• 5.5mm Jump Rings – X003062

Directions

1. Cut the 2 meter of leather in half. Take one and cut in half again.
2. Take your two strands and slide both through rhinestone clasp loop and center. Make an overhand knot with all four strands, close to clasp loop.
3. Flare out your ends and determine which are your middle two strands and your side strands. Take one gemstone and slide through the two middle cords.
4. Decide your two left and right strands. Slide a gemstone through the two left strands and another gemstone to the two right strands.
5. Slide another gemstone through the two middle strands.
6. Take your two left strands and slide through one hole of oval bead. And take your two right strands and slide through other hole of oval bead.
7. Repeat Steps 3-6 one more time.
8. Repeat Steps 3-5 again.
9. Rhinestone clasp comes with an end connector with a small loop. Open jump ring, slide through small loop and close.
10. Make sure to wrap bracelet on your wrist to help determine where you want to situate your knot. Take your four ends and slide jump ring through all ends and do an overhand knot with the jump ring/ring connector within the knot.
11. Try on the bracelet and adjust knot you made previously if you need to make length shorter or longer. Cut leather ends as an option.

We’re designing stretch bracelets with 50mm curve tubes beads and 3mm melon beads. Easy to make, stack and wear!

These bracelets are easy to make! Each bracelet is strung on and tied into one bracelet for fun stackable, arm candy fun.

What you’ll need:

• .5mm Clear Elasticity (A021633)
• 3mm Czech Melon Beads
• 50mm Curve Tubes Beads (A014097)
• TUTORIAL on tying Surgeon’s Knot

Items used in bracelets: A014097, A021634, A021914, A021930, A021929

Directions:

1. Cut a 10″ piece of elastic. Stretch elastic to loosen the elasticity.
2. Slide on the elastic the curve tube and 40 melon beads. (40 beads will loosely fit a 6.5″ wrist size. So add more melon beads to adjust to your sizing.)
3. Make a Surgeon’s Knot to your elastic ends. Gently stretch elastic to tighten the knot.
   
4. Cut off excess elastic and slide knot inside curve tube if you can.
   Optional: You can add a small spot of Super New Glue or Hypo Cement to the knot.
5. Repeat for MORE bracelets!

Mix up shiny Swarovski crystals and natural gemstone beads in an easy memory wrap bracelet.

Mixing up different types beads makes for a modern and even edgy DIY jewelry, especially when you use Swarovski Fine Rocks Tube beads and round Dakota Stones gemstone beads. And to bring even a more edgy look, we’ve added some beautiful Star Cut Crystal Quartz gemstone.

What you’ll need for project:

• 6mm Round Gemstones
• 6mm Crystal Quartz Star Cut Beads
• 30mm Swarovski Fine Rocks Tube Crystal Bead
• 7mm Nugget Spacer (TC00034)
• Extra Heavy Duty Round Bracelet Memory Wire (Silver/Gold/Rose Gold)
  OR Heavy Duty Memory Wire (Silver/Gold)
• Tools: Memory Wire Shears and Memory Wire Finishing Pliers

Minimal Fine Rocks Bracelet

Items used in bracelet: SW01736 & WR00131

Nothing like a simplistic DIY jewelry! Here, we used Extra Heavy Duty Memory Wire, cut a 1.25 coil and slide on the Fine Rocks Tube. The trick to getting the crystal tube curve is to gently curve the tube while sliding it on the memory wire. Center the tube and make a loop to both memory wire ends with the Memory Wire Finishing Pliers. The thick memory wire gives a hearty substance to a minimalistic design, without covering the whole wire!

Sparkly Starry Wrap with Gemstones

Items used in Onyx bracelet: WR00121, CRY6RD-SC, TC00034 (4), SW01736 (2) & ONX6RD-8.

Items used in Howlite bracelet: WR00121, CRY6RD-SC, TC00034 (4), SW01740 (2) & WHT6RD-8.

In these two bracelets are 6mm round gemstones and 6mm Crystal Quartz star cut beads. The star cut and fine rocks tube bead are both a compliment to an edgy and even punk-ish vibe!

1. Cut a coil and a half of heavy duty memory wire.
2. Make a loop to one end of your memory wire with memory wire finishing pliers.
3. Slide the following onto the memory wire:
   9 gemstone beads, nugget spacer, fine rocks tube, nugget spacer, 5 Crystal Quartz star cut beads, nugget spacer, fine rocks tube, nugget spacer and 9 gemstone beads.
4. Cut excess wire, leaving a 3/8 inch end. Make a loop.

Here is a simple bracelet braided with macrame square knots using Chinese knotting cord and 1.5mm leather cord.

With the boho, fiber and minimalistic trend, macrame is making its comeback to wall decor and even jewelry making. Like our Macrame Leather Bracelet, we used Chinese knotting cord and made square knots on two strands of leather for a simple bracelet. The contrast of the white Chinese knotting cord still brings out the natural colors of the leather!

What you’ll need:

• 1mm Chinese Knotting Cord (Item used in example: A018859)
• 1.5mm Leather Round Cord (Item used in example: Z019114)
• Button (Item used in example: TC00897)
• Macramé Board or Clipboard
• T-Pins or general pins.
• Scissors and Lighter

You can use 2mm Chinese knotting cord or leather for this tutorial also!

Let’s get knotting!

Clamshell Bead Tips can be the perfect way to finish the ends of your stringing materials like chain, flex wire or beading thread. Here are two ways on how to use clamshell bead tips.

These versatile clamshell bead tips can be used with all types of stringing materials. You can use it to finish off Nylon Silk Cord, Chain, Soft Flex Beading Wire and more. There are two types of bead tips we carry.

One opens and closes from the side like a book. And the other opens and closes at the base with a hole in between.

The process of how to use the clamshell bead tips are as followed:

1st Clamshell Bead Tip

This clamshell will fold like a book. We have used here, Nylon silk cord. You will make a knot at the end of your thread and cut off the excess end. Cup the knot by sliding the bead tip to surround the knot. Bring both sides of the bead tip together by squeezing your finger together. You can also use a plier to gently close and enclose the knot within the bead tip.

You can find these bead tips in Silver, Gold, Antique Silver and Brass.

Plus, this clamshell bead tip has a loop at the top, which makes it easy to use a jump ring to attach your clasp, chain, etc.

2nd Clamshell Bead Tip

This clamshell (Z010740) folds upwards and has a hole in the middle of the hinge/folded part. We are using Soft Flex Beading Wire and a crimp tube with this clamshell bead tip. Slide end of flex wire through hole. Slide a 1mm or 2mm crimp tube on beading wire and flatten it with a flat nose pliers. Slide crimped tube inside the clamshell and close. This tutorial works well with .7mm beading chain (CH00724). 

This clamshell bead tip has an open loop, where you can slide on your clasp, chain, etc without the use of a jump ring. All you do is slide your clasp through and use a flat nose pliers to close the loop.

Learn how easy it is to make an adjustable bracelet using Slide on Clasps with Beading Chain.

Adjustable bracelets can be a versatile piece of jewelry to fit any size wrist. From our Adjustable Beading Chain Jewelry trend, we used dainty 0.7mm or 1.25mm chains with beads, while adding a Slide on Clasp to create an adjustable bracelet.

What you will need:

• 0.7mm chain (CH00724/CH00725)
• 4x5mm Slide on Clasp (Z008576/Z008577/Z008578)
  OR
• 1.25mm chain (CH01003/CH01004)
• 5.57mm Slide on Clasp (Z008579/Z008580/Z008581)

When measuring the length of chain, measure your wrist length and add 2-2.5 inches. 

1. Cut chain to your desired length. Slide one end through the Slide on Clasp.
2. Lay the other end of the chain parallel to the first chain end.
3. Grasping the two chains, push the Slide on Clasp over the other chain end.

Ways to cap your chain ends:

1. For the 1.25mm chain, use 2mm End Caps with a dab of Super New Glue to add the end cap. (Z008570/Z008574/Z008575)
2. For the 0.7mm chain, crimp a Ring End Cap at the ends. (X001505)
3. Another way to finish off the 0.7mm chain with crimping 2mm crimp tube with the Magical Crimping Tool.

We used these lovely glossy Howlite gemstones with silver brass beads. However, what we love about this bracelet is pairing it with a Channel Bangle in the Suede Channel Bangle Bracelet. Two bracelets in one.

What you will need to create your pendant or dangle crystals  are the following:

• or Devcon Clear Epoxy – 5 Minute or 30 Minute

When determining the right crystal stone for the right setting, read the description to determine the correct crystal style #. Take the style # and put that into the search bar to find crystals that will fit that setting.

Another key component to creating these crystal dangles is the two-part epoxy. CG 500 (A+B) is a high-performance gluing system for both foiled and unfoiled Swarovski crystals, exclusively distributed by Swarovski for professional use within the jewelry industry. CG 500 (A+B) absorbs impacts and withstands distortion. In addition, maximum elasticity protects the crystal foiling.

Make sure to grab some Resin Cups and Sticks to mix your epoxy!

Crystal Spike Cuff & Ring
