  1. Open large jump ring, slide on tassel loop and through loop of eyepin. Close jump ring.
  2. On eyepin, slide on bicone bead, thread bead and bicone bead. Make a simple loop.
  3. Open small jump ring, slide on dangle and through loop of earring. Close jump ring.
  4. Repeat all steps for other earring.

  1. One end of the hoops can slide out. Don’t slide it out but crimp down by using a needle nose pliers.
  2. Open jump ring, slide on tassel loop and through hoop. Close jump ring.
  3. Open earwire loop, slide on hoop dangle and close loop.
  4. Repeat all steps for other earrings.




DIY Bracelet Key Chains with Leather and Memory Wire

We have the perfect idea for your holiday gifts; DIY Bracelet Key Chains made with Heavy Duty Memory Wire. They are a fun DIY for every family member, friend and neighbor!

What you’ll need:

Directions:

  1. Cut a coil and a half of memory wire with Memory Wire Cutters.
  2. Make a simple, rolled loop to one end of your memory wire, with Memory Wire Finishing Pliers.
  3. Slide on the End Cap, Leather piece and End cap onto the memory wire.
  4. Cut memory wire end to about 3/4″ and make another rolled loop. Roll both ends to tighten up your bracelet keychain.
  5. Open jump ring, slide on tassel and one looped end of bracelet keychain. Close jump ring.
  6. Slide keyring through that end loop also.

DIY Long Straw & Acetate Tassel Necklace

Your next summer DIY is easy to do when all you need are a few components to make this fabulous Long Straw & Acetate Tassel Necklace.

What you’ll need:

  • Woven Straw Ring Pendant/Connector – Z019259
  • 6mm Gold Jump Ring – Z011522
  • Pearl Acetate Half Circle Pendant/Connector – Z012461
  • 3.75 Inch Gold Plated Tassel – A013213
  • Gold Plated Adjustable Rollo Chain Necklace Double Slide Clasp – Z010757

Tools you may need:

  • Bead Reamer
  • Alternative Otion: pointy Round Nose pliers or Awl

Directions:

  1. Using the bead reamer or sharp awl, puncture a hole between the outer two rings of the woven straw component. Make another hole directly across the other side of the straw.
  2. Open a jump ring, slide on chain tassel loo and through a straw component hole you made in Step 2. Close jump ring.
  3. Open another jump ring, slide through other hole of the straw you made in Step 2 and through hole of the acetate (curved side). Close jump ring.
  4. Open another jump ring and slide on other hole on acetate and through both of the jump rings of the adjustable necklace chain. Close jump ring.




DIY Peacock Necklace with Acetate Component and Tassel

Today’s Peacock Tassel Necklace consists of some of our favorite products, acetate, chain, charms and tassels. Come make this lovely necklace today!

What you’ll need for necklace:

Directions:

  1. Cut large oval chain to consist of 11 links.
  2. Open 9mm jump ring, slide on tassel and through one hole of acetate connector. Close jump ring.
  3. Open another 9mm jump ring, slide through other hole of acetate, crescent charm and the middle link of large oval chain you cut in Step One. Close jump ring.
  4. Open 6mm jump ring, slide on one end of large oval chain and through one end of rollo chain. Close jump ring.
  5. Repeat step 4 to other chain ends. Note: you can chain the length of your necklace by shortening the rollo chain length.




DIY Wrap Pearl & Denim Blue Bracelet

We’re starting June with one of our favorite style of DIY jewelry-making; memory wire wrap bracelets. Our DIY Wrap Pearl & Denim Blue Bracelet combines some of our favorite components; leather with hollow core, Swarovski pearls and tassels.

What you’ll need for bracelet:

Direction:

  1. Make a simple loop with Memory Wire Finishing Pliers.
  2. Slide the the following beads:
    1. 2 seed beads, 6mm pearl, seed bead, curve tube, 8mm pearl, seed bead, 8mm denim blue crystal, seed bead, 8mm pearl.
    2. end cap, 2.5″ of leather, bead cap
    3. 8mm pearl, seed bead, 8mm denim blue crystal, seed bead, 8mm pearl, curve tube, seed bead, 6mm pearl and 2 seed bead.
  3. Cut Memory Wire with a 1/2″ to 3/4″ end.
  4. Make a simple loop to that end with Memory Wire Finishing Pliers.




Tassel Earrings with TierraCast® Findings and Miyuki Seed Beads

Our tutorial today features some trendy tassel earrings made with seed beads. You may recall our previous blog post on Beaded Tassel Tutorial. Today’s project will use that tutorial along with multiple colors of seed beads and beautiful TierraCast pieces.

What you’ll need:

  • Size 11/0 seed beads. We used 3 different colors in our sample:
    • SB00423, which will pair with the gold TierraCast finding. You can also use SB00422 and silver TierraCast finding.
    • Cream color: SB00444
    • Color seed bead: SB00447 You can also swap this color!

Directions (Refer to Beaded Tassel Tutorial for example visuals):

  1. Make a wrapped loop to a 3 inch piece of wire. OR if you’re using an eyepin, coil the eyepin loop.
  2. Starting with 4 feet of thread, create a stopper bead on your thread leaving a 4-6 inch tail.
  3. Sew through the wire loop.
  4. Pick up the following bead sequence
    1. 20 cream seed bead
    2. Wine bead, cream bead, 2 wine bead, cream bead, 3 wine bead, cream bead
    3. 10 wine bead
    4. gold bead, wine bead, 2 gold bead, wine bead, 3 gold bead, wine bead
    5. 8 gold bead.
  5. Skip the last bead and sew back up through all the beads you’ve sewn and through wire loop. Don’t pull to hard, you want your fringe to hang loose.
  6. Repeat step 4 and 5 another 7 more times for a total of 8 tassel fringes.
  7. Tie thread ends together, securing it with a small dot of Super New Glue.
  8. Slide wire through cone and pick up 4mm round bead (pearl) and cream seed bead. Make a simple or wrapped loop.
  9. Open earwire and add tassel dangle.
  10. Repeat all steps for other earring.




DIY Tassel Droplet Earrings

Tassels are an all year round kind of component for jewelry-making. Here’s how we make these pair of earrings combined with fancy large oval chain.

Items needed in earrings:

Directions

  1. Cut oval chain to consist of 3 links.
  2. Open jump ring, slide on last link and a tassel. Close jump ring.
  3. Open another jump ring, slide on middle link and a tassel. Close jump ring.
  4. Open another jump ring, slide on last link and a tassel. Close jump ring.
  5. Open another jump ring, slide on a tassel and close jump ring.
  6. Open another jump ring, slide through post earring hole, through jump ring in Step 5, and one end of chain link. Close jump ring.
  7. Repeat all steps for other earring.




Heart Tassel Earrings

Post earrings are everywhere and we are just LOVING these heart post in this Heart Tassel Earrings!

What you’ll need:

Directions:

  1. Using a flat nose pliers, open loop of tassel.
  2. Slide on earring loop and close loop.
  3. Repeat for other earring.
