Kicking off a full month of DIY projects for the month of February, we start out with an easy beadable wine stopper. With a mandrel thickness of 2.5mm, mix up large-hole beads and select metal beads/spacers. Even Large-Hole Gemstones will work! Items used in Wine Stopper:
- Wine Stopper Short Stem – A003264
- Swarovski Large Hole Rondelle Crystal – A002899
- A005627 OR Large-Hole Beads
- Metal Beads – A003566 & A003567
Directions:
- Unscrew the ball of the wine stopper (set aside).
- Slide onto the mandrel: Crystal, metal spacer, lampwork and metal bead.
- Screw back on the ball.

We’d suggest that some Large-Hole Gemstones would work, as well as some of our other Large-Hole glass beads. If you’re asking about a particular substitution of the bead, may I suggestL A004197 or A006193.
