Pantone Color Spring 2018

Ultra Violet is the 2018 Color of the Year. It is a color that “fascinates and intrigues” the mind, body and soul. It foreshadows the forward thinking of technology, artistic expression, pop culture and more. Ultra Violet’s hue is close to the Druzy Agate Purple gemstone, the sheen of an Iridescent Purple Swarovski Pearl, or the velvety color of a Purple Dyed Agate Slice Pendant. Meadowlark represents the coming of sunny days and warm weather. Its bright hue is a must for spring and bring a pop of fresh colors in jewelry making.

Cherry Tomato is a florescent creamy red like coral red. Pantone explains it as a “tempestuous orangey red that exudes heat and energy.”

Arcadia is a cross between a dark turquoise and teal. We love how it looks with a deep red, gold or mustard color. African Turquoise is a lovely gemstone that closely resembles Pantone’s Arcadia.
