Designing DIY necklace is easy with beading chain. Here is a quick tutorial on using crimp ends with beading chain and creating a Porcelain & Glass Necklace!
Crimp End Tutorial
What you’ll need for this crimp end tutorial are:
- .7mm Beading Chain – CH00724 or CH00725
- 2 pieces – 1mm Crimp End – A021771 or A021708
- Chain or Needle Nose Pliers – Pliers used in tutorial TL00236
Step One: Place beading chain end inside crimp end channel. 
Step Two: With pliers, pinch the sides of crimp end gently together. 
Step Three: Pinch down the crimp end. There will be a small gap. 
Step Four: With your pliers, pinch down the seams to close the gap.
DIY Porcelain & Lampwork Necklace
What you’ll need for necklace:
- 2 – 3 feet of .7mm Beading Chain – CH00724 or CH00725
- 2 pieces – 1mm Crimp End – A021771 or A021708
- 8mm Round Chinese Crystal – A006247
- 4mm Gold Hematite Beads – HEMDG4RD
- 16mm Porcelain Round Bead
- 12mm Round Glass Bead
- 4 or 5mm jump rings
- Choice of clasp
Directions:
- On beading chain, slide on the following sequence of beads:
A. hematite bead and Chinese crystal, repeat for a total of 5.
B. hematite, lampwork, hematite and lampwork
C. hematite, porcelain, hematite, porcelain, hematite, porcelain,
D. Repeat Step 1B
E. Repeat Step 1A
F. Slide on hematite bead. - Crimp both ends of your beading chain with crimp ends. (Refer to tutorial above).
- Using jump rings, attached your clasp of choice.
