Our selection of beadable accessories are one of our favorite categories to play with. We’re giving you a basic pattern at how to bead stitch a beadable cuff link with Miyuki Delica beads.
What you’ll need for beadable link:
- Beadable Cuff Link (Silver/Gold)
- Fireline Beading Thread
- Miyuki Size 11/0 Delica Beads
- Needle
- Optional: Thread Zap
Tutorial
As you can see from the illustration, you will see how to ladder stitch across the channel of the beadable cuff link, while adding 3 Delica seed beads inside the channel. Add different colors and create fun patterns to complete your Cuff Link.

What are those dark spots that are showing up on the actual link?
Hello Tammie, those spots are reflecting the black background behind the camera. The links are a full silver or gold plated piece.
Silly question…How do you wear these?
You can add an adjustable bracelet sliding clasp or add leather to complete your cuff link. You can check out our Facebook video where I showed how to used round leather and made a sliding leather knot.

I would like to start one of these bead weaving projects. Understand the chart, but how do you anchor the thread/wire at the 1st bead? thanks!
Hello Sue. Add a stopper bead first to your thread end before you start. You can see in our previous blog HERE, in our first step you’ll a tutorial an image of a stopper bead. This will hold your thread in place while you stitch. Once you are done stitching, pull on the bead and it should unravel off your thread end.
