Watch as BeadSmith demonstrates how the Magical Crimping Pliers (TL00288) is used. The end result is MAGICAL!
We love how easy it is to use the Magical Crimping Pliers and how the tool cinches the outer parts of the crimp tube, thus creating what looks like a small 2mm bead. Pick this tool up today! It’ll be your new favorite tool!
What you’ll need for this video tutorial:
- Magical Crimping Pliers
- 2mm crimp – Make sure these crimp tubes/beads are sized at 2mm x 2mm.

so does that mean you are saying a person needs a certain wire and certain crimp beads for this tool to work properly. Will it work on any size crimp bead and wire also. Thanks Mary Voge maryvoge@yahoo.com
BeadSmith recommends to use .019 and .024 flexible beading wire only and 2x2mm crimp tubes. There is an inner concave space that is designed to cup the 2mm crimp tube and cinch the outer parts of the crimp.
Hi- Are there any beadalon brands of wire that would work with this tool. I really prefer beadalon in wire but love the idea of one step crimping. I have no problem buying the crimp beads that you recommend, but don’t want to switch beading wire. Please let me know which type and size would work (i.e. 49 strand, 018 width, etc.) Thank you so much.
It’s recommended to use .019 and .024 flexible beading wire. If you’re using multi-strands you can use finer threads.
